The short version
Dick's Flooring doesn't have accounts, doesn't chase people around the web with ads, and doesn't sell or rent anybody's information. This page spells out what happens to anything you type, upload, or send us.
What you send us
Questions and estimates start as a phone call or an email. When you tap a phone number or an email link on this site, your own phone or email app opens with the message ready to go — nothing reaches us until you press send.
Once it does reach us, it lands in our inbox and stays there as long as we need it to answer you, keep your project straight, or hold on to our own records. That's the whole collection: what you choose to tell us.
The AI tools
The Room Visualizer, the Floor Matchmaker, and the chat helper send what you give them — a room photo, your answers, your question — to the AI service that draws the preview or writes the reply. We don't keep a copy of your photo or your chat on this site.
Please only send photos of rooms you have the right to share, and try not to include people who didn't ask to be in the picture.
Cookies and tracking
This site doesn't set advertising cookies, doesn't use analytics that follow you from site to site, and doesn't build a profile of who you are. What you do here stays here.
Hosting and ordinary logs
Like any website, the company that hosts this one may keep ordinary technical records — the address of the machine you connected from, your browser type, which pages were requested — so the site stays up and stays safe. We don't use those records to figure out who you are.
Kids
This site isn't aimed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If a young one sent us something that shouldn't have been sent, email us and we'll take care of it.
Your information, your call
Want us to delete something you emailed, or just want to know what we have? Email us from the address you wrote us from and we'll take care of it — with the obvious exception of anything we're required to hold on to.
When this changes
If we change this policy, the date at the top of the page goes up. Nothing here changes how we handled a message you already sent us.
